Booking terms

Studio Mi is a registered tourist let in the Valencian Community. The rental registration number is ES-HFNT-00004604500035259100100000000000000000000000001, held by May and Ian at the property in La Canyada, Valencia. Spanish law requires us to register every guest with the authorities, so we collect the full name, date of birth, nationality and identity or passport number of each adult staying.

An enquiry is not a booking. When you send dates we check them against our calendar and reply to confirm, usually within a few hours. Your stay is only reserved once we have confirmed it to you in writing. Until then the nights remain available to other guests, including through our listing on Airbnb.

The rate we quote is the total for your stay. It covers the studio, all utilities, the wifi, linen and towels, the final clean and the covered parking space. There is no guest service fee, because you are booking with us rather than through a platform. Tourist tax, where it applies, is stated separately in the quote.

Cancel more than 14 days before check in and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancel within 14 days and we refund half. Cancel within 48 hours of check in, or do not arrive, and we cannot refund the stay. If we ever have to cancel on you, for any reason, you get everything back and we will help you find somewhere else nearby.

We do not take a security deposit. We do ask that you leave the studio roughly as you found it, and we ask you to tell us straight away if something breaks. Nothing gets charged for ordinary wear, and we would rather fix a problem during your stay than discover it after you have gone.

The studio takes two guests, and only the people named on the booking may stay. Check in is from 15:00 and check out by 11:00, and we are flexible where we can be. No smoking inside, no parties, and quiet between 21:00 and 09:00. Sorry, no pets. There is a small dog living on the property.

We keep the details you give us for as long as Spanish tax and tourist registration rules require, and no longer. We use your email and phone number to arrange your stay and nothing else. We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to anyone but the authorities where the law requires it, and you can ask us to delete everything we are not obliged to keep by writing to [email protected].
